Main features of PublishPress functions
Control user permissions
The PublishPress Capabilities feature gives you detailed control over all permissions on your WordPress site. You can customize all user roles on your site, from administrator to subscriber.
Create and copy user roles
With PublishPress, you can create or copy any existing WordPress user role. These roles can be added to individual sites or to an entire multi-site network.
Content permissions
Use the features to select who can publish, read, edit, and delete content. You can choose permissions for posts, pages, custom content types, categories, tags, and more.
Support for multiple WordPress sites
Capabilities can control permissions on a single site or across your network. Each time you update permissions in PublishPress Capabilities, you can choose to synchronize these network changes with multiple sites.
Custom statuses
if you have PublishPress or PublishPress Permissions plugins you can create your own states. With Capabilities Pro you can decide which user roles can post to each state.
Abilities for any taxonomy
The PublishPress Capabilities plugin allows you to add additional permissions to taxonomies on your site. You can grant “Manage”, “Edit” and “Assign” permissions to all your taxonomies.
Permission backup
Each time you change your permissions, the PublishPress Capabilities plugin automatically creates a backup. If you make a mistake, go to the “Backup” menu link and you will be able to undo the changes.
Media library permissions
PublishPress Capabilities lets you decide who can upload, edit, and delete files from your site’s media library. You can adjust the permissions for the media library as well as the Selected Image field.
WooCommerce permissions
With PublishPress options, you can control permissions for WooCommerce products, orders, and coupons. You can also manage WooCommerce taxonomies, such as product categories, product brands, and product shipping classes.
